Hi, my name is Alyssa Kolecki and this is my final portfolio for ART-315. I started right away with a table of contents page. Each photo is a button that links to the section that each project is found under. I really love pictures so I wanted to make sure I added that on the table of contents, I figured it was a way to get a better look of what to expect in this portfolio. Especially for someone that didn't take this class and wasn't familiar with the projects.
Next, I have an about me page. Again, this is for someone that didn't take this class or doesn't know me. I added buttons to my resume, blog, and a contact page which takes you to my LinkedIn account. Being a business student, I've become used to showing people my resume and when creating this portfolio I thought of ways I wanted to make it professional enough to incorporate it to my resume as well as my LinkedIn account.
Next, it takes you right into our first project which was the digital story. I chose to give the titles of each project at the top, an artists statement at the bottom, and then I chose an image that represented the project, but wasn't a direct screenshot from the project. They are the same images found on the table of contents page. Continuing, it takes you to the progress page which is the screenshot and text explaining my thoughts and ideas behind creating this project. Next is the final product which has a link to where you can find the full project. You'll notice that those pages all had similar layouts but different placement and colors. I wanted to keep it very uniform and almost like a template. You'll also see that there is a home button that will take you back to the table of contents page.
Continuing, you will see that there is the same layout for each project we did in class. Again I wanted to keep it simple and easy to follow. Also, I kept the same fonts and I used these the entire semester so I felt that it would be good to use them for the portfolio as well.
Finally, I added a conclusion page to sum up what I learned this semester. I wanted to tie it full circle from the beginning as well as add another link to my blog. Thank you!
