Week 12- Portfolio Design

Portfolio:

As a graphic design minor I'm kind of stuck in the middle of having an actual portfolio that is required and reviewed every year and having a portfolio that I make on my own in order to showcase what I've learned in the classes I've taken. It's not a requirement for me to have a portfolio, but I feel like one day very soon an employer is going to ask for the work I've done.

For this class we are required to create a portfolio for the work that we've done throughout the semester. We've talked in class about how normally when you create a portfolio they differ and you want to show the skills that are necessary for the job that you're applying for. Typically you wouldn't have as much explaining and as many case studies as we are for this project.

For this portfolio, I plan on organizing it in the order that we did each project and keeping the layout similar for each one.

I want to:
- explain the assignment, the title, and the link to it
- why I chose to do this and what my first thoughts were
- the process
- screenshots and a final artist statement

Among those pages I will also include a cover page, about the author, table of contents, and conclusion.

After this project is complete I plan to take chunks of it to create another portfolio with some of the work from my other classes as well.
