How to do a Sun Salutation
Our next project is a how to guide made on the free website, Weebly. My idea is to create a how to guide about how to do a sun salutation in yoga. Yoga is a passion for me and I don't think that many people have tried out yoga or they have a stigma about it. Another idea I had for this project was a how to survive freshman year guide, because my sister is a freshman. I felt like I didn't have as much information about that and I didn't want to embarrass her!
I think the yoga guide will be a little bit more professional for me and I'll be able to add it to my portfolio as well as my social media/LinkedIn account.
This project also requires me to do more research about the specific terms about yoga. The past 2 years I've practiced but I haven't done much research about the history of yoga.
For my how to:
I'm planning on taking a picture for each pose. Above the picture I'll have the name of the pose and a description about it. I think I'll make it so it continues to scroll down. I find this easier than having to click on pages and then waiting for a new page to load. Personally, I think scrolling is a lot more efficient and easier to read.
Most websites start with a large image and a header so that the reader knows exactly what the site is about. I plan to also do that for mine as well as a closing image at the end.
